Wuthering Heights

So I have owned this book for a couple years now. A couple failed reading attempts later and I am here. I WILL read this book before Winter Break is over. That is my New Years Resolution. To read Wuthering Heights.

My problem with this book is that is starts out so very dull. A man rents a house and goes to visit the landlord and gets stuck at the landlords house. Not to terribly exciting. But it gets better, picks up some steam, gets the ball rolling! . . . . The narrator....... GETS SICK!! yeah! ok, I guess that was not that exciting after all. Sorry to get you all worked up over nothing there.

Something interesting does happen though. It seems that Emily Bronte actually knows what she is going when it comes to writing. Remember the landlord? Well What I didn't tell you was that he was a mean, surly, crotechty, old man. It turns out that the housekeeper that came with the rented house grew up with the landlord. Well kinda, she was the nanny/housekeeper/cook in the house that he grew up in. Lucky break huh?

So now our narrator is sick in bed. What is he to do? I have an idea! Have the old housekeeper lady tell him the landlords life story! So that is where I am friends. With the narrator in bed listening to a tale of Woe and Sorrow. It is acctually a pretty good book so far and I am really enjoying it. The only problem is finding time to actually read it. With the Winter-Mini and all. My days are occupied with math. And that is not really fun.

I guess it is math time then....ugh. Bye Bye friends.
